Fashion designer and nutritionist, Ayo Van Elma, releases SS’16 collection, and unsurprisingly, it is inspired by food. According to the creative director, the ‘fishbone’ collection was inspired by a late lunch that had the most interesting construction.
The collection features Ankara prints, sheer fabric with flame-like details, overemphasized pockets, unorthodox skirts… Several pieces struck a chord with us, will some seemed undeserving of a second glance. Overall, this seems to be a wearable collection.
